The following teachers were nominated by their children's parents and peers for being exceptional. Jennifer Powell of Teachables selected these educators based upon votes and the heartfelt testimony people shared about them.

And the winners are....

Audrey Baldwin- Special Education, Loch Lomond Elementary, Manassas

Liisa Erickson- Special Ed. PreSchool, Little Run Elementary, Fairfax

The winning Teachers all received gift certificates to Teachables and a gift basket including Teachables items, a 'You Matter' t-shirt, an art kit donated by AR WORKS Bristow and a 'Thank you' ceramic plate donated by Inspiram Creations.

According to a recent Teachables poll, teachers prefer flexible gift cards as gifts, and food comes in second.
