Join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and philanthropy as we come together to protect wildlife habitats and our homes. Let’s work together to strengthen conservation efforts in Prince William County!
Highlights of the Event:
Gourmet Italian food and non-alcoholic drinks included
Learn about the impacts of habitat loss on owls
Meet owl ambassadors from Earthquest!
50/50 raffle & prize raffles
Join us for a presentation all about owls. We’ll be joined by a guest speaker from Earthquest, who will share about how owls navigate the world and how habitat loss affects them. Owls are our neighbors. Land use decisions being made across the country right now impact their homes as much as ours.
We’ll be joined by two owl ambassadors, a Barred Owl, who represents owl species that are native to this region, and a Eurasian Eagle Owl, who represents owls from other continents.
During the presentation, we’ll learn some of the differences between these two owls. Afterwards, there will be some informal time to ask questions or get a closer look at Bubo, a seasoned ambassador owl.
