Prince William County Police warned residents that two dangerous dogs are on the loose in the area. Officers from the Animal Control Bureau responded Dec. 26 at 6:30 p.m. to a property in the 1500 block of Loudoun Drive in Haymarket to investigate an attack on a Pomeranian, which was tethered outside on the property. "After the attack, the two dogs, described by a witness as a black Labrador Retriever and a reddish brown dog, fled into the wooded area toward horse trails and Rose Hill Estates," a police spokesperson posted on social media.  The dog is in serious but stable condition at a local animal hospital, suffering from numerous bite wounds.
Police would like anyone with information on the identity and location of these dangerous dogs to call the Animal Control Bureau at 703-792-6500. "The Animal Control Bureau is warning people in the area to be vigilant for the safety of small animals and children," they said.
