UPDATE: Police Arrest Nokesville Man for Assault at Manassas Chick-Fil-A

He alleged assaulted a woman at the Sudley Manor Drive restaurant

Monday, Prince William Police arrested the suspect sought in connection to the assault that reportedly occurred at the Chick-Fil-A located at 10677 Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas, June 8. 

The accused, Exequias Carbajal Ortiz, turned himself over to the police without incident.

Officers responded to the Chick-Fil-A located at 10677 Sudley Manor Dr. in Manassas, June 8 at 3:10 p.m., to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that Ortiz was involved in a verbal altercation with a 33-year-old female employee.

During the encounter, both parties went to a back room where the accused grabbed the victim’s wrist and prevented her from leaving.

The parties eventually separated, and the police were contacted. No injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Exequias Carbajal Ortiz. Initial attempts to locate the accused had been unsuccessful.

Police arrested  Exequias Carbajal Ortiz, 38, of 13218 Fitzwater Drive in Nokesville, June 26. He was charged with abduction and assault & battery. His court date is pending. Ortiz is being held without bond.
