Hurry! Online registration for the July 4th Freedom Firecracker 5K and Sparkler 1 Mile is filling quickly!
This is a fun, family-friendly event in celebration of July 4th. The race is held at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 1-mile run/walk starts at 9:30 a.m.
Wear your best-themed gear – you name it! A DJ will play music at the start/finish line throughout the event. All runners receive a custom race medal and t-shirt. Kona Ice will be on-site and all runners will receive a free Kona ICE treat.
Both the 5K and 1-Mile runs are open to all ages. The Sparkler 1-Mile Run/Walk is a non-timed event geared toward our youth; however runners of all ages and abilities are welcome, and we encourage beginners to participate!
Fun Run Racing extends a special thank you to Iron Mountain Data Centers for its generous support of this local community event.
Additionally, Fun Run Racing will be donating a portion of the race proceeds to Hero’s Bridge. Hero’s Bridge is a local charitable organization dedicated to serving elderly veterans, aged 65 and older.
