Detectives from the Special Victims Unit and members of the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force began an investigation into child pornography after a tip was received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“The tip provided detectives with information about nude and sexual images of underage boys being uploaded to a specific account via the social media site called ‘Tumblr,’” said Prince William police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

The investigation into the owner of that account led investigators to a residence located on Dodsworth Drive.

Detectives subsequently obtained and executed a search warrant at the home. Multiple electronic and storage devices that contained illicit images were located and seized as a result of the search,

The identity of the victims in the images is unknown; however, detectives were able to determine that the children were minors. Following the investigation, the adult residents of the home were arrested.

Both suspects are being held without bail. Their court dates are pending.

Homeland Security confirmed their participated in the arrest according to their spokesperson. Prince William County Police also worked in cooperation with Virginia State Police.

No photo of Aaron Landers was available.
