Updated June 6 at 2 p.m.–The suspect sought in connection to the stabbing that was reported to have occurred in the 8000 block of Stream Walk Lane in Manassas (20109) on June 4, was arrested, Monday.
The accused, Bobby Damont Gross, was located in the Manassas area, and taken into custody without incident.
Police arrested Bobby Damont Gross, 23, of no fixed address, on June 5. He has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
His court date is pending. He is being held WITHOUT Bond
Stabbing Investigation – Prince William County Officers responded to the 8000 block of Stream Walk Lane in Manassas to investigate a stabbing, June 4 at 4:58 p.m.
Upon arriving in the area, officers located a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds and immediately provided first aid until fire and rescue personnel arrived. The victim was then flown to an area hospital where medical staff determined the injuries were non-life threatening.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 26-year-old man, and an acquaintance were in the wooded area behind a local business when a verbal altercation escalated.
At one point, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing on foot. Officers, a K-9 and a Fairfax County police helicopter searched the area for the suspect who was not located.
While investigating the incident, officers identified the accused as Bobby Damont Gross. Following the investigation, obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Wanted: Bobby Damont Gross Gross, 23, of no fixed address is described as a black male, 5’9”, 185 pounds., with black hair and brown eyes.
Bobby Gross is wanted for aggravated malicious wounding.
