Armed Robbery: Two Suspects Apprehended

MANASSAS, Va.  — At 8:35 p.m. on July 4, officers swiftly responded to a reported robbery at the Exxon service station situated at 8289 Sudley Road in Manassas (20109).

Upon investigation, it was determined that two unidentified individuals entered the store and unlawfully took items from a cooler. As they proceeded toward the exit, an employee confronted them, prompting one of the suspects to brandish a knife in a threatening manner. Subsequently, both suspects proceeded to damage merchandise racks before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

During a thorough search of the vicinity, officers located and apprehended both suspects without any further incident. The individuals have been identified as Ashley Ivette Elvir Flores, 18, residing at 7430 Boundary Avenue in Manassas, and Axel Median Cano Anaya, 20, residing at 8962 Miles Place in Manassas.

Following the investigation, both suspects were arrested and charged with robbery and destruction of property. Their court date is pending, and they are currently being held without bond.
