UPDATED, Jan. 19: The 'Bristow' Chick-fil-A, located in Sowder Village Square in Manassas, has announced it has reopened as of Friday, Jan. 19, 2024.
PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: Prince William Fire & Rescue units this morning were dispatched to the Chick-fil-A in the 9900 block of Sowder Village Square, Wed. at 6:19 a.m. for a report of the building on fire.
Crews arrived with fire showing from the rear of the structure. The structure sustained moderate damage. No injuries were reported.
The Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was ignited when oncoming staff turned on a heater in the trash room not realizing there were combustible materials near the electric heater.
The operating status of the restaurant is unknown currently.
