Nearly 100 Groups Are on Record Opposing the Prince William Digital Gateway
Including Conservationists, Historical Preservationists, Politicians, Community Associations, and Thousands of Residents
The upside county seal is a protest against the Prince William Digital Gateway.

If every organization opposing the Prince William Digital Gateway utilized its five minutes of speaking time, the public hearing portion would last for eight hours without any individuals taking the mic.”
While a dozen regional conversation groups penned a letter to the Prince William Board of County Supervisors asking that they send the Comp Plan amendment to allow the Prince William Digital Gateway back to the county's planning commission, the list belies the fact that dozens more groups have gone on record stating their opposition to the 2100+ acre data center hub.
Below is a (still) incomplete list of organizations and individuals on record as opposing the Prince William Digital Gateway. I say incomplete because there are thousands of individual citizens who could be added to this list. I invite them to write you and their other elected officials and the media to share their own thoughts.
That’s a lot of collective wisdom. Hopefully the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, QTS and Compass will reconsider their attempts to ruin our community before the November 1st vote.

The thousands of signatories of the petition to recall Supervisor Pete Candland
The thousands of signatories of the petition to recall Chair Ann Wheeler
This is an opinion piece by the author.
Bristow Beat opposes the Prince William Digital Gateway in its current form recommended by the Prince William Planning Commission. The changes made to the Comp Plan amendment would eliminate proposed natural buffers and increase the visibility of data centers from the Manassas Battlefield National Park. Additionally, the process for approval lacked transparency.
