This Teacher Appreciation Week, Teachables Nova in Bristow Commons is celebrating teachers by honoring six local educators as 'Teachables Annual Teachers of the Year' for 2022."
The following teachers were nominated by their children's parents and peers for being exceptional. Jennifer Powell of Teachables selected these educators based upon votes and the heartfelt testimony people shared about them.
And the winners are....
Heather Ball- 1st Grade, Cedar Pt. Elementary, Nokesville
Audrey Baldwin- Special Education, Loch Lomond Elementary, Manassas
Liisa Erickson- Special Ed. PreSchool, Little Run Elementary, Fairfax
Kelly Nichols- 6th Grade, Marsteller Middle School, Bristow
Cassandra Cornwell- Kindergarten, Tyler Elementary, Haymarket
Michael Ciampaglione- Autism, Bristow Run Elementary, Bristow
Jennifer Ludlow- 1st Grade, T. Clay Wood Elementary, Nokesville
The winning Teachers all received gift certificates to Teachables and a gift basket including Teachables items, a 'You Matter' t-shirt, an art kit donated by AR WORKS Bristow and a 'Thank you' ceramic plate donated by Inspiram Creations.
According to a recent Teachables poll, teachers prefer flexible gift cards as gifts, and food comes in second.
Come to Teachables, an educator supply store, to shop for your favorite teacher, or purchase a gift certificate.
